Privacy Policy
Cleaner is designed to help you review and remove unwanted photos while keeping photo analysis on your iPhone.
Overview
Cleaner scans and organizes photos on your device. Photo analysis for duplicate, similar, blurry, dark, screenshot, and large-file detection runs locally on your iPhone. Cleaner does not upload your photo library content to our servers for scan or cleanup features.
Photo Library Access
Cleaner may request access to your photo library so it can display, analyze, group, and help you delete photos you select. iOS controls this permission. You can change or revoke access at any time in the Settings app on your device.
Cleaner only deletes photos after you choose items and confirm deletion through the app and iOS photo library APIs.
On-Device Analysis
Cleaner may create temporary analysis data such as feature prints, quality estimates, grouping results, thumbnails, and scan cache to make photo review faster. This data is used for app functionality and is stored on your device unless iOS or the app clears it.
Purchases and Subscription Status
Cleaner uses Apple in-app purchases for subscriptions and lifetime access. Apple handles payment details. Cleaner also uses RevenueCat to verify purchases, restore access, and manage premium entitlement status.
RevenueCat may process purchase-related identifiers, receipt information, subscription status, product identifiers, and app instance information needed to provide premium access. Your photo content is not shared with RevenueCat for scan or cleanup features.
Support Emails
If you email support, we use the information you send only to respond, troubleshoot, and resolve the issue. Please do not email private photos unless we specifically ask and you are comfortable sharing them.
Advertising and Tracking
Cleaner does not sell personal data and does not use third-party advertising tracking. The app may store preferences, onboarding status, scan cache, and subscription state for app functionality.
Retention
Local app data remains on your device until it is cleared by the app, by iOS, or by uninstalling the app. Purchase records are managed by Apple and RevenueCat according to their own retention practices.
Children
Cleaner is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support email, contact us so we can delete it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
